Frequently asked questions about the Ballroom Beginners classes

Is it ok to have 2 left feet?

Anyone with 2 or even 3 left feet are especially welcome.
You may be surprised at how good you can be.
Basically if you can walk you can dance!

What clothes and shoes should i wear?

You want to be comfortable, so casual wear is fine and either trainers or shoes will be ok,
all we ask is no stilleto heels as they can damage the wooden floors.

Can i come to the class on my own or do i need a partner?

You are more than welcome to come on your own as we can partner you with
someone else on the class or if needs be one of our experienced helpers.

Will i be split up from my husband/wife/partner while we learn the steps?

No you stay with your partner the whole time you are learning.
We'll never make you dance with someone else
(even though you may prefer to!)

What happens if i have to miss a week?

Dont worry its easy to catch you up as we always run over what we did
the week before on each class as well as learning the new steps

Is there anywhere we can practice the dances we've learnt?

As well as receiving notes on the dances you've learnt so you can practice at home,
we also have 2 social practice nights a week where you can come and practice your new moves.
